Family Reading Night
Our Makris site hosted our program families for Family Reading Night! The event included literacy, language and craft activities for our parents and children to do together.
Family Reading Night is an annual statewide event held the third Thursday in November to encourage families to spend quality time reading together. Sponsored by Illinois Secretary of State and State Librarian, Jesse White, and the Illinois Center for the Book.
